In the premier volume of the AFTERLIFE series we are proud to announce the release of our first book!  Volume one features Chris O'Donnell and Grime. Two tattooer's whose influence and dedication have changed the face of the modern Tattoo world. Their hard work and dedication to the craft has been an inspiration and drive behind so many tattooers today.

Over the last couple years we have had the chance to sit down multiple times with these amazing artist for in-depth interviews, and a look into their artwork, practices, and lives. Afterlife has a high focus on art and the work behind the finished product of each tattoo. The goal was to bring something to the Tattoo publication world that I would want to read/see.

With AFTERLIFE I wanted to make something that showed everything I would want to see in a publication, with a high focus on art and philosophy,  alongside process-based photographs, from sketches all the way to final tattoos, and also portraits of the artists in their daily environments. I wanted an artist I trusted and looked up to to go along on this ride with me. Joey Prince is that person, an outstanding photographer and documentarian. Once Joey agreed to do this project with me, I knew we were on a good track. That brought us to finding our designer and visual-content person, Christopher Dang, amazingly open to ideas and such a talented and creative designer and artist in his own right. Once we had the ball rolling with the help of many of our friends/coworkers/families we saught out the advice of David Skolkin. David generously took on the role of project overseer and made the book what it is today.

We are all beyond excited to share this project with you, and look forward to many more volumes to come!
